The Blue Power Charger IP22 is a highly efficient automatic charger designed for professional charging of lead-acid and Li-Ion batteries, featuring a 5-year warranty.

The integrated Bluetooth interface allows you to configure charger settings, read voltage and charging current using a smart device (Android or iOS phone/tablet). It also enables firmware updates, allowing the manufacturer to add new charging programs and profiles for emerging battery types on the market.

The charger provides an exceptional efficiency of 93–94 %, generating up to five times less heat than the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops below 0.5 W.

The charging characteristic is a 6-stage adaptive profile: test / bulk / absorption / recondition / float / storage. The processor-controlled adaptive algorithm optimizes the charging process based on the battery’s usage and discharge pattern.

Storage Mode: reduced maintenance and slower battery aging when not in use. If the battery has not been used in the past 24 hours, the charger switches to Storage Mode. Voltage is lowered to 2.2 V per cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery), minimizing gassing and positive-plate corrosion. Once per week, the voltage is briefly increased to absorption level to equalize cell voltage, mix the electrolyte and prevent battery sulphation.

Blue Smart IP22 chargers also support LiFePO4 batteries and include a dedicated charging program for them.

NIGHT and LOW Mode
When NIGHT or LOW mode is selected, the charger reduces its output to max. 25 % of its rated power and switches off the fan, resulting in completely silent operation. This mode ends automatically after 8 hours or manually by the user.

The output current is automatically limited at higher temperatures up to 50 °C, ensuring long charger life even in demanding environments.

LED indicators display the charging status and stages: TEST, BULK, ABSORPTION, RECONDITION, FLOAT, STORAGE, READY, as well as NORMAL (14.4 V), HIGH (14.7 V), RECONDITION and LI-ION modes.
