The BMV-712S SMART battery status monitor is a new high-precision battery status monitoring system (9.5-95V 20-9999Ah) + the possibility of connecting a second battery (only measures voltage) with a built-in Bluetooth interface. You can monitor and manage individual parameters conveniently on your mobile phone.
The monitor can be used for lead batteries (liquid, GEL, AGM), but also for LiFePO4.
The basic function of monitoring the battery status is the calculation of the amount of ampere-hours consumed and the state of charge of the battery /SOC-state of charge/. Ampere-hours consumed or delivered are calculated by integrating the charging or discharging current of the battery. It is therefore the most accurate technology for displaying the remaining battery capacity.
With this battery tracker you can track:
- Battery voltage
-Current flowing from and to the battery
-Consumed Ah
-State of charge in % (sophisticated software is used for calculation, considering the Paukert exponent, which can be set...see Manual below)
-Battery run time remaining
-Visual and audible alarm: overvoltage and undervoltage, and/or low battery
-Programmable alarm or relay to start the generator
-Historical data, records of highest and lowest values, number of alarms, time since full battery charge, etc., etc.
