Cyrix-ct 12/24V 230A battery connection relay

Cyrix-i 12/24V 230A microprocessor-controlled battery isolator (or separator). Relay for recharging the second battery with LED status indication.

The Heavy Duty battery separator will automatically connect the batteries in parallel when the voltage on the battery reaches the set level (which in practice means that the battery is being charged) and disconnect the batteries if the voltage drops below the set level (the batteries have stopped being recharged). Cyrix will also disconnect the batteries in case of overvoltage, such as when charging is damaged. The main use is, for example, in caravans and boats, where there are two batteries, one for starting and the other for power. The batteries will be connected when the engine is started and separated when stationary.

Cyrix-ct is an excellent replacement for diode separators (isolators). The main feature is that the voltage drop is zero, so the output voltage of the alternator or charger does not need to be increased.

Some competing separators operate on a purely voltage-controlled basis, so in the event of a sudden drop in voltage (connecting a large dead battery) disconnection occurs and this leads to the failure of the entire system. Cyrixu-i 12/24 software does more than connect and disconnect batteries based on voltage. The Cyrix-ct 12/24 follows the basic voltage trend (rising or falling) and reverses the previous state only if the trend is changed within a certain period of time.

12/24 automatic setting
The Cyrix-i 12/24 automatically selects the voltage

Prioritizing the starter battery
Typically, the starter battery is connected directly to the alternator. The power battery (battery for powering electrical appliances in a car, caravan or boat) is connected to the starting aid Cyrix-ct 12/24. As soon as the Cyrix-i recognizes that the voltage on the starter battery has reached the required level, it switches on, connecting both batteries and charging them with the alternator.

Two-sided voltage measurement
Cyrix measures the voltage on both batteries. If the mains battery is being recharged (for example at a campsite or marina), then it will also connect to the starter battery and both are being recharged.

To avoid unexpected situations during assembly or if one battery is disconnected, the Cyrix will not turn on if one of the batteries has a voltage lower than 2V (12V battery) or 4V (24V battery)

Parallel connection in case of emergency (starting aid)
Cyrix can be started and switched on by a button (not part of the device) automatically for 30 seconds after the button is pressed, or it can be connected when the batteries are connected for the entire time the button is pressed. Both can be used to achieve more starting power from the battery.
