The refrigerator has a removable, hermetically sealed, reliable SECOP BD1.4AM compressor, which can be placed at a distance of up to approx. 1.5 m from the refrigerator.

Temperature adjustment by a rotary thermostat with a temperature setting range from approx. +10°C to -12°C makes the refrigerator very versatile, as it can be used as a refrigerator as well as a freezer.
