The IPCU is used to control electronically controlled vehicle blowers in stand-by mode on vehicles with a 12-volt vehicle electrical system. It can be operated either as a voltage divider or as a PWM relay. By evaluating terminal 15, the IPCU is deactivated while driving. When operating as a "high active switch" (Signal High Active), signals at PIN E are also detected and suppress the signal output. When setting the IPCU as a "low active switch" (Signal Low Active), the query of the PIN E is deactivated.
