Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr regulator 12/24 / 48V 70A 250V with Bluetooth

Victron Energy provides an extended 5-year warranty on all MPPT controllers.
The display in the product image is not included in the package, must be ordered separately.
Ultra-fast solar controller BlueSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr with Bluetooth enabling connection and status monitoring on your smartphone or tablet. This is done by a freely available application for Android and iOS VictronConnect available in the App Store and Google Play. You can then monitor the voltage of batteries, panels, charging current and other parameters on your mobile phone. It is possible to view the history of supplied and consumed energy, it is possible to set charging parameters (charging current and voltage), charging characteristics, etc. The options are given by the current software version. You can also use the specified software to update the controller firmware.
Ultra fast MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
Especially in the case of variable clouds, when the intensity of solar radiation is constantly changing, the controller responds very quickly and is able to increase profits by 30% compared to PWM controllers and up to 10% compared to conventional, slower, MPPT controllers.
BatteryLife revolutionary charging program
If the controller is not able to fully charge the batteries within one day, the result is a gradual discharge of the battery, this condition continues to deepen with each cycle. This will cause full discharge, the possibility of sulfation of the battery and subsequent destruction or significant loss of capacity within a few weeks or months.
The BatteryLife charging algorithm monitors this condition and, if it starts to occur, it increases the load off of the battery every day until absorption charging is reached. From this point on, the value of the load disconnection will continue to be adjusted so that the absorption charging takes place approx. Every week.
The solar controller includes a temperature sensor that adjusts the charging voltage according to the ambient temperature.
The charging algorithm can be programmed as required using the software, the VE.Direct USB cable is used to connect to a PC. Settings can also be made using a smart device and the VictronConnect application.
The output is short-circuit proof and can supply capacitive loads such as inverters.

Remote On
/ Off, used for example to connect VE.BUS BMS (to end / start charging LiFePO battery).

Programmable
relay - can be set (for example by telephone) to trigger an alarm or other conditions

Optional
LCD Display - the LCD display can be very easily connected to the controller (not part of the product, see related products or datasheet)

Automatic battery voltage detection.

Parallel
switching of controllers - up to 10 controllers can be synchronized via Bluetooth.
Restore function even when the battery is completely discharged - the controller starts charging even a fully discharged battery with 0V voltage, it is also able to connect to a discharged Li-Ion battery with integrated disconnection function.

Programmable
relay - it is possible to set (using a smartphone) the function of switching the relay on and off to indicate various states or errors of the controller.

Maximum photovoltaic array power for a battery with rated voltage:

12V - 1000Wp, 24V - 2000Wp, 36V - 3000Wp, 48V - 4000Wp
If more than the maximum allowed power of the panels is connected to the controller, the controller will limit the input power.
The voltage of the solar panels must exceed the battery voltage by at least 5 V for the controller to start working and charge the battery. The controller charges until the panel voltage is 1 V higher than the battery voltage.

Extensive electronic protection

Protection against overheating and reduced performance at high temperatures. Short circuit and polarity reversal protection.
